Worry-Free Wednesday

Today, I choose not to worry about anything and let God do what needs to be done in my life. Are things great for me? No, but I am learning to trust God even more and learning to be patient while I wait on God. This Is Hard, but I'm learning. What really matters is that we wait with a good attitude. Now I admit my attitude was not at all that great in the beginning. I have had one of those talks with God where my attitude was terrible and later I had to ask for forgiveness because I thought how could I talk to my Father that way. He knows what is best for me. So I began to ask God to help me to wait and teach me to be patient while I wait. God's grace is amazing. Becuase of His grace I am able to go through things and not have the attitude that I once had. We must learn that waiting is all part of life. Once we get this in our heads then we will be okay. Remember that God's work is difficult and complicated and that you will be better off if you allow God and let God do the work.

My Prayer:
God please help us to wait on You. Help us to know that waiting is all a part of preparation and it is a process. God we thank You for all that You have done in our lives. In Jesus name we ask these things. Amen

Monday's Message

Acknowledging the Presence of God, Not God's Presents

You ever wonder why you may be going through the same thing over and over again and not having a way to overcome this repeated thing? You know God allows us to go through things over and over because He is trying to get us to the truth and that is we should not live by worldy things, but by the promises of God. God wants us to have an abundant life but first we must acknowledge Him, learn to obey Him and trust Him in all things all the time. The tests and trials that we go through are for experience for us to learn to do things God's way instead of our way. God's way is the best way. We must learn this! We must learn to serve God for WHO HE IS and not just for WHAT HE CAN DO FOR US. We are so easily mislead when it comes to seeking God. In our troubled times we seek God for what He can give us, but we don't seek Him for Who He is. God wants to bless us, but we must put Him first. Matthew 6:33 reads: seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all things will be added unto you. Let's learn to seek God's kingdom. Let's learn and practice putting God first in our lives. Through it all let's learn to worship God during bad times, good times, sad times and happy times. Basically, worship God and He will bless you.

My Prayer:
Heavenly Father in Heaven forgive us for not putting You first. I pray that you wil put a desire in us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Help us to trust You and know that Your way is the best way for us. In Jesus name we ask these things. Amen

Fearless Friday

Why do we let fear settle within us? A lot of times we are afraid to step out and try something new or complete a goal or fulfilling a righteous passion of ours. We are afraid because of fear-fear of the unknown. Fear keeps us from finding out what we are really capable of. The only way to fulfill our destinies and succeed is to take the steps of faith. A lot of steps of faith. I understand and I know that stepping out into the unknown can be terrifying. Believe me I do because that's what I was going through. I have stepped out on faith and I am trusting God no matter what happens. In the book of Genesis 26:24 it says fear not for I (God) am with you. I have started so many things but I have yet to complete them. The main reason why I have not completed them was because of fear. Since I have decided to step out on faith and trust God I am making small progress in accomplishing the things I believe God wants me to accomplish. Is it hard? Yes, but in Him I trust. This fear that I have been holding on to has got to GO! I am taking the word of God and applying it to my stepping out. I encourage you to do the same. Let go of your fears. Fininsh what you have started or what you want to start. I have heard at times that it is so easy to start something, but it takes a lot of courage to finish it. Whatever you are afraid of let it go and trust God.

My Prayer:
Heavenly Father in Heaven I pray that you give us the mindset of letting go of our fears. Your word says that you did not give us the spirit of fear, but the spirit of power, love and of sound mind. Help us to let go all of our fears so that we can fulfill the destinies that You want us to fulfill. Its in Your son Jesus name we pray and ask these things. Amen

Thankful Thursday

Today I woke up feeling a liitle frustrated with some things, but I have failed to realize that my life can be much worse than what it really is. So I am thankful that I have breath in my body becuase some did not make it to live another day; I am thankful that I woke up in my right state of mind becuase some may not have this morning; I am thankful that I did not loose a loved one; I am thankful that I have a car; I am thankful that I have a job; I am thankful for having family and friends, but most importantly I am thankful for knowing God and what He has done for me and what He will continue to do for me. What are you thankful for?

My Prayer:
Precious God I pray that each of us continue to be thankful to You because You have done so much for us. Help us to know that our lives could be much worse than what it really is, but because we have You in our lives there is nothing we can't do or go through. In Jesus name Amen.

Worry-Free Wednesday

Often times we worry about how the bills are going to get paid, the kids, work, family and other things that are important to us. I encourage you to start making decisions without worrying about them. We should not live in fear of being wrong about the decisions we make concerning the issues about bills, the car, the kids etc. Lean on God when making those decisions. If your heart is in the right place and you are in the Will of God, He will make sure that all your needs are met. When you make a decision do not let self-doubt settle in and torment you. Being in a double-minded state causes confusion. Let's not worry just turn it all over to God.

My Prayer:
God help us to place all our cares upon you, but most importantly help us, teach us how to lean and depend on you to meet all our needs. In Jesus name, Amen.

Monday's Message

The message today is coming straight out of the book of I John 4:7. It says "beloved let us love one another, for love is from God; and he who loves is begotten of God and is coming to know and understand God and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him(God)."

Look, I know it's hard to love our fellowmen, sometimes family and friends and especially our enemies, but in order for us to get what God has for us we must be able to walk in love, His love most definitely because if we leave it up to ourselves IT WON'T HAPPEN! It's hard walking in love when someone has hurt you, betrayed you, lied on you etc. but walking in love is one of the things that can take all the hurt, pain and disappointments away. I am a living witness to that. Yes, I do still struggle at times, but I have learned to depend on my Creator, my Father in Heaven.

The world looks for something real, something that's concrete or evident for love; often times we look for love and find ways to love instead of looking to God who is love and who can help us to love others as we should. I encourage each of us to know and believe His love for us.

My prayer:
I pray God that you will help each of us to love others, for love does come from You and that you will especially help us to love those who have hurt us in any way. Amen.
